Harris remains unstoppable

Lily Harris has continued her undefeated wrestling season, with victories in both Freestyle and Greco Roman wrestling at the Junior State level. Her wins earned her title of Green River Girls triple crown winner, solidifying her as a standout athlete in the newly-formed and seemingly successful girls wrestling community.

Clinching the top spot at Junior State, Harris continues to set herself apart from other female wrestlers not only in Green River but continually on a larger stage.

Harris' achievement in the Greco Roman wrestling category was particularly impressive. Greco Roman wrestling is a style that emphasizes upper body strength and throws, and is a style of wrestling that Harris doesn't compete in often.

Other notable performances in the girls wrestling division included Adia Price from Green River, who secured second place in both Freestyle and Greco Roman wrestling. Additionally, Sarah Eddy from Rock Springs placed first in both styles in her respective weight category.

The achievements of Harris, Price, and Eddy showcase the strength of Sweetwater County in girls' wrestling. The county has become a hub for talented wrestlers, both male and female this season. Harris once again attributes her success and the success of her teammates to the support and encouragement they receive from their coaches, families, and the community.
