Frank Liska, 78, passed away Tuesday, February 18, 2025 at home.. He was a lifelong resident of Rock Springs, Wyoming.
He was born on February 16, 1947; the son of Frank A. Liska and Eleanor Zelenka.
He attended schools in Rock Springs and graduated from Rock Springs High School in 1965 and furthered his education at Western Wyoming Community College.
Frank married the love of his life Roberta "Bobbi" Hofeldt July 3, 1971 in Cora, Wyoming.
His dedication and work ethic led him to a successful career at Anadarko, where he worked diligently for 33 years until his retirement.
Frank was a man of diverse interests and found joy in the great outdoors. An avid hunter and fisherman, he also enjoyed camping and exploring the trails on his side-by-side. Frank's unique hobby of collecting golf balls brought him much joy and sparked many conversations. Above all, he loved spending time with his family, including watching his children's sports, creating memories that will be cherished forever. Frank's legacy lives on through his loving family.
Survivors include one son, Jason Liska and wife Kathryn of Edmond, Oklahoma; one daughter, Stephanie Westerfield and husband Levi of Rock Springs, Wyoming; one sister, Johnne Christensen and husband Grant of Rock Springs, Wyoming; one sister-in-law, Daphne Hofeldt; six grandchildren, Dylan Medler; Tevin Liska; Braxton Stringfellow; Brianna Liska; Shayla Davidson and husband Sean; Jaci Trigg; two great-grandchildren, Lincoln Medler; Stevi Medler and many other adopted grandchildren; several cousins; nieces; nephews and special friend Beth Ice.
Frank's warm spirit, infectious smile, and undeniable kindness will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
The family respectfully requests donations be made in Frank's memory to Cowboys Against Cancer 1893 Dewar Drive, Rock Springs, Wyoming 82901.
Cremation will take place; a Celebration of Life will be conducted at 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, February 25, 2025 at the Holy Communion Episcopal Church, 255 2nd Street, Rock Springs, Wyoming.
