Green River Police Department reports for Feb. 3
At 8:18 a.m., officers responded to a report of drugs.
At 8:55 a.m., officers responded to a report of burglary.
At 11:46 a.m., officers responded to a report of a juvenile in possession of tobacco. Officers met with the juvenile and issued them a citation for alleged use/possession of tobacco by minor and completed a report of the incident.
At 12:19 p.m., officers responded to a report of a two-vehicle collision that had happened in the Smith's parking lot the day prior. Officers met with the reporting party who advised they had been driving their vehicle when they were backed into. Officers then met with the driver of the second vehicle, Victoria Davis, and issued her a citation for alleged inattentive driving with crash. Officers completed a report of the incident.
At 12:33 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle and issued warnings for alleged expired temporary license permit/improper registration and vehicle superintendent's speed zone - 6+ mph over.
At 12:43 p.m., officers responded to a report of a scam.
At 1:42 p.m., officers responded to a report of threats/harassment.
At 1:48 p.m., officers responded to a report of fraud.
At 4:52 p.m., officers responded to a report of a traffic offense.
At 6:53 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle and issued a warning for an alleged stop sign violation.
At 7:10 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle and issued a warning for alleged improper lane usage.
At 9:33 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle and issued a warning for an alleged turn signals required violation.
Feb. 4
At 6:20 a.m., officers responded to a report of a disturbance.
At 2:55 p.m., officers responded to a report of a domestic assault. Officers met with the involved parties and after investigation placed Bailey Hewitt under arrest for alleged domestic battery - second offense within five years. Officers transported Hewitt to the Sweetwater County Detention Center and completed a report of the incident.
At 3:57 p.m., officers issued a citation to Susan Hehr for alleged nuisance property.
At 4:33 p.m., officers responded to a report of an accident. Officers issued a citation to Kelly Worden for an alleged stop sign violation.
At 7:23 p.m., officers responded to a report of a hit and run.
At 7:54 p.m., officers responded to a report of a disturbance.
Feb. 5
At 8:15 a.m., officers responded to a report of juveniles in possession of alcohol and controlled substances. Officers met with two juveniles and issued one juvenile three citations for alleged under 21 - possess alcohol, under 21 consume alcohol, and possession of controlled substance plant - 3 oz or less. The other juvenile was issued two citations for alleged under 21 - possess alcohol and possession of controlled substance - liquid - 3/10 gram or less.
At 9:52 a.m., officers responded to a report of a motorcycle versus truck collision in the area of Scotts Bottom Road. Officers determined the driver of the motorcycle had hit the truck and the truck had left the scene. Officers were able to initiate a traffic stop on the truck and issued the driver, James Henley, citations for alleged leave scene of accident resulting in injury or death and compulsory auto insurance violation - first offense. The driver of the motorcycle was transported to the hospital and officers completed a report of the incident.
At 1:44 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle and issued a warning for alleged expired temporary license permit/improper registration.
At 5:22 p.m., officers responded to a report of a burglary.
Feb. 6
At 1:05 p.m., officers responded to a report of a violation of court orders.
At 2:01 p.m., officers responded to a report of a scam.
At 2:40 p.m., officers responded to a report of vandalism.
At 3:51 p.m., officers responded to a report of a traffic offense.
At 4:11 p.m., officers responded to a report of a hit and run.
At 4:31 p.m., officers responded to a report of a found person.
At 5:38 p.m., officers responded to a report of stalking.
At 5:49 p.m., officers responded to a report of a weapon offense.
At 6:24 p.m., officers responded to a report of a disturbance.
Feb. 7
At 12:35 p.m., officers responded to a report of a two-vehicle collision in the area of W Flaming Gorge Way. Officers met with both drivers and determined the first vehicle had backed into the second vehicle. Officers issued the driver of the first vehicle, Michael Kinniburgh, a citation for alleged improper backing and completed a report of the incident.
At 2:55 p.m., officers responded to a report of vandalism.
At 3:41 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle and issued a warning for alleged speeding in a school zone.
At 5:23 p.m., officers responded to a report of threats/harassment.
At 10:38 and 10:42 p.m., officers responded to reports of traffic offenses.
Feb. 8
At 10:50 a.m., officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle and placed the driver, Avery Bingham, under arrest for alleged DWUS. Officers transported Bingham to the Sweetwater County Detention Center and issued him a citation for the above offense. Officers completed a report of the incident.
