Green River students recently took part in a competition against Rock Springs and Farson/Eden.
The Lincoln Middle School MathCounts program has started their new season, and is off to a strong start.
The MathCounts team from LMS started by facing off against Rock Springs and Farson/Eden two weeks ago, and several Green River Students had top finishes. Head Coach Dogan Gunduz said it was not a bad start to the season.
Lincoln is part of the Southwest region of Wyoming for MathCounts, a national program that teaches math and problem solving skills to middle school students.

Green River Individual winners:
Finley Sax (grade 6) - 2nd place
Archer Kinney (grade 7) - 3rd place
Kaiden Olson (grade 8) - 4th place
Green River Team winners:
2nd place - Kaiden Olson, Lucas Arnold, Archer Kinney, Cooper Page
3rd Place - Shelby Church, Finley Sax, Isaac Gonzalez, Thayne Smith
