Green River Police Department reports for Oct. 8
At 8:04 a.m., officers responded to a report of a traffic offense.
At 9:34 a.m., officers responded to a report of fraud.
At 9:49 a.m., officers responded to a report of larceny.
At 10:28 a.m., officers responded to a report of a witnessed larceny. Officers met with the reporting party who advised they had seen an individual take a license plate off of a vehicle. Officers located the suspect, Mindilyn Zekan, and placed her under arrest for alleged theft: use or dispose - under $1000 and interference with peace officer - interferes or resists arrest. Officers transported Zekan to the Sweetwater County Detention Center and completed a report of the incident.

At 1:18 p.m., officers responded to a report of property damage.
At 4:45 p.m., officers responded to Ace Hardware for a report of shoplifting. Officers met with the reporting party who advised they had witnessed an individual attempting to conceal merchandise. Officers met with the individual, Ryan Bybee, and located the concealed merchandise. Bybee was issued a citation for alleged shoplifting and officers completed a report of the incident.
At 8:21 p.m., officers responded to a report of a disturbance.
At 9:23 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle and issued the driver, Omar Abunejem, citations for alleged compulsory auto insurance - 1st offense and valid certificate of title, certificate of registration, and license plates required. Officers also issued a warning for an alleged stop sign violation.
At 9:51 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle and issued a warning for an alleged stop sign violation.
At 10:09 p.m., officers responded to a report of a traffic offense.
At 10:11 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle and issued the driver, Kenneth Richards, a citation for alleged expired temporary license permit/improper registration.

At 2:22 a.m., officers came in contact with an individual with an active warrant. Officers placed Richard Mendoza under arrest per the active warrant. Officers transported Mendoza to the Sweetwater County Detention Center where he was issued an additional citation for alleged interference with peace officer, and officers completed a report of the incident.
At 7:17 a.m., officers responded to a report of a burglary.
At 9:23 a.m., officers responded to a report of a dog at large. Officers located the dog and later the owner, Christopher Bowles, and issued him a citation for alleged animal at large.
