Green River Police Department reports for Aug. 19

At 3:51 p.m., officers responded to a report of a traffic offense.

At 8:33 p.m., officers responded to a report of domestic violence.

At 9:29 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for speed and determined the driver, Tyson Zilth, had a suspended driver's license. Officers issued citations for alleged speed - generally and DWUS and placed Zilth under arrest for DWUS. Officers transported Zilth to the Sweetwater County Detention Center and completed a report of the incident.

Aug. 20

At 8:36 a.m., officers responded to a report of property damage.

At 10:53 a.m., officers responded to a citizen assist in the area of the Rec Center. Officers met with an individual who was later determined to be under the influence of alcohol and in violation of a Probation and Parole order. Officers placed the individual, Billy Dodd, under arrest for alleged public intoxication - third or subsequent offense and arrest and hold order/PC arrest for probation/parole violation. Officers transported Dodd to the Sweetwater County Detention Center, issued a citation for alleged public intoxication, and completed a report of the incident.

At 11:26 a.m., officers responded to a report of assault.

At 1:16 p.m., officers responded to reports of accidents.

At 3:21 p.m., officers responded to a REDDI report. Officers located the vehicle and made contact with the driver, Stephen Sampson, who was later determined to be under the influence. Sampson was placed under arrest for alleged open alcoholic beverage by operator of vehicle - first offense, DWUI - incapable of safely driving - alcohol - first offense, and interference with peace officer - interferes or resists arrest. Officers transported Sampson to the Sweetwater County Detention Center, issued citations, and completed a report of the incident.

At 6:23 p.m., officers responded to a report of burglary.

At 7:07 p.m., officers responded to a report of an alcohol offense.

At 9:45 p.m., officers responded to a report of a disturbance.

At 11:30 p.m., officers responded to a report of a traffic hazard.

Aug. 21

At 2:43 a.m., officers conducted a traffic stop and issued a warning for an alleged when headlamps required violation.

At 8:18 a.m., officers responded to a report of a disturbance. Officers met with the involved parties who advised their dogs had gotten into a bad fight and they were trying to break it up. Officers issued the owner of the aggressor dog, Jaquimarie West, a citation for alleged vicious animal and completed a report of the incident.

At 9 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop and issued a warning for alleged no valid driver's license, MC endorsement, instruction/intermediate permits.

At 9:35 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop and issued a warning for alleged following too closely.

At 10:59 p.m., officers responded to a report of threats/harassment.

Aug. 22

At 1:35 a.m., officers came in contact with an individual with an active warrant. Officers placed Kelly Martinez under arrest per the active warrant, transported him to the Sweetwater County Detention Center, and completed a report of the incident.

At 7:22 a.m., officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle and issued a warning for alleged speeding in a school zone.

At 7:36 a.m., officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle and issued the driver, Albert Rogers, a citation for alleged expired temporary license permit/improper registration.

At 7:37 a.m., officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle and issued a warning for alleged speeding in a school zone.

At 7:40 a.m., officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle and issued a warning for alleged speeding in a school zone.

At 8:03 a.m., officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle and issued a warning for alleged speeding in a school zone.

At 8:07 a.m., officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle and issued a warning for alleged speeding - generally.

At 11:02 a.m., officers responded to a report of threats/harassment.

At 1:31 p.m., officers responded to a report of a disturbance.

At 1:48 p.m., officers responded to a report of an animal bite.

At 2:23 p.m., officers responded to a report of larceny.

At 4:26 p.m., officers responded to a report of a two-vehicle collision in the Smith's parking lot. Officer met with the driver, who advised while attempting to park their vehicle they struck another parked vehicle. Officers issued the driver, a juvenile, a citation for alleged inattentive driving with crash and completed a report of the incident.

At 5:08 p.m., officers responded to a report of an animal bite.

At 10:12 p.m., officers responded to a report of fraud.

Aug. 23

At 8:56 a.m., officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle and issued the driver, Devan Heslep, citations for alleged compulsory auto insurance violation - first offense and vehicle exceed 30 mph in urban district (6+ over).

At 10:41 a.m., officers responded to a report of a disturbance.

At 1:49 p.m., officers responded to a report of a single-vehicle collision. Officers met with the owner of the vehicle who advised the vehicle had rolled from where it was parked while unattended and crashed into a garage door. Officers issued the owner of the vehicle, Kerry McKenzie, a citation for alleged leave vehicle unattended and completed a report of the incident.

At 6:16 p.m., officers responded to a report of an accident.

At 7:08 p.m., officers responded to a report of a two-vehicle collision. Officers met with the involved parties who advised vehicle one had backed into vehicle two, which was parked and unattended. Officers observed damage to vehicle two; issued the driver of vehicle one, a juvenile, a citation for alleged inattentive driving with crash; and completed a report of the incident.

At 7:33 p.m., officers responded to a report of trespassing.

At 10:51 p.m., officers responded to a report of a weapon offense.

At 11:58 p.m., officers responded to a report of a disturbance.

Aug. 24

At 2:13 a.m., officers responded to a report of a disturbance.

At 11:08 a.m., while on another call for service, officers came in contact with an individual who had been driving with a suspended license. Officers placed Ree Anna Buckles under arrest for alleged driving while license canceled, suspended or revoked - 2nd+ offense, transported her to the Sweetwater County Detention Center, issued a citation, and completed a report of the incident.

At 11:23 a.m., officers responded to a report of property damage.

At 12:03 p.m., officers responded to a report of a two-vehicle collision in the area of E 2nd S Street. Officers met with the involved parties who advised vehicle one was traveling eastbound and was attempting to make a left hand turn when they were struck by vehicle two, which was traveling westbound. A witness advised vehicle one did not yield to vehicle two, who did not have enough time to stop, causing the collision. Officers issued the driver of vehicle one, Angelina Bennett, a citation for alleged inattentive driving with crash and completed a report of the incident.
