Green River Police Department reports for Aug. 14

At 12:13 a.m., officers made a field contact and issued a warning for alleged curfew violation.

At 1:26 a.m., officers made a field contact and issued a warning for alleged curfew violation.

At 9:41 a.m., officers responded to a report of a dog at large. Officers located the dog; met with the owner, Karen Marin Vargas; and issued a citation for alleged animal at large.

At 3:37 p.m., officers responded to a report of a violation of a court order.

At 5:14 p.m., officers responded to Probation and Parole for a report of an individual with an active warrant. Officers placed Kasie Sheridan under arrest per the warrant, transported her to the Sweetwater County Detention Center and completed a report of the incident.

At 5:29 p.m., officers responded to a report of a subject removal.

At 8:05 p.m., officers responded to a report of property damage.

At 9:07 p.m., officers responded to a report of threats/harassment.

At 10:31 p.m., officers responded to a report of a disturbance.

Aug. 15

At 10:23 a.m., officers responded to a report of abuse.

At 12:24 p.m., officers responded to a report of fraud.

At 6:01 p.m., officers responded to a report of property damage.

At 8:22 p.m., officers responded to a report of threats/harassment.

At 9:29 p.m., officers responded to a report of a traffic offense.

At 9:56 p.m., officers responded to a report of a traffic offense.

At 10:28 p.m., officers responded to a report of a violation of a court order.

At 11:02 p.m., officers responded to a report of domestic violence. Officers met with the involved parties and gathered their statements. After gathering information, officers placed Adam Clark under arrest for alleged domestic battery - first offense, transported him to the Sweetwater County Detention Center, and completed a report of the incident.

Aug. 16

At 3:30 a.m., officers responded to a report of a runaway juvenile. While officers were gathering information from the reporting party, the juvenile returned home. Officers issued the juvenile a citation for alleged curfew violation and completed a report of the incident.

At 8:21 a.m., officers responded to a report of a found bicycle in the area of Kentucky Street. Officers met with the reporting party who advised the bicycle had been in the area with no one around it for approximately three days. Officers checked with surrounding residences for a possible owner and were unable to locate one. Officers transported the bicycle to GRPD for safekeeping and completed a report of the incident.

At 4:23 p.m., officers responded to a report of a weapon offense.

At 9:21 p.m., officers responded to a report of fireworks.

At 9:30 p.m., officers responded to a report of an accident.

At 10:18 p.m., officers responded to a report of a disturbance.

Aug. 17

At 10:11 a.m., officers responded to a report of burglary.

At 8:05 p.m., officers responded to a report of a two-vehicle accident in the Smith's parking lot. Officers met with both drivers, who advised the first vehicle had been struck by the second vehicle while the second vehicle was pulling into a parking space. Officers issued the driver of the first vehicle, Carl Beckstead, citations for alleged compulsory auto insurance - first offense and expired temporary license permit/improper registration and completed a report of the incident.

At 9:27 p.m., officers responded to a report of fireworks.

At 11:17 p.m., officers responded to The Brewery for a report of two individuals who had left without paying their tabs. Officers met with the reporting party and gathered information. Officers were able to locate and identify the suspects as Jerry Medina and Amberly Lell. Officers placed both individuals under arrest for alleged theft: deprive - under $1000, transported them to the Sweetwater County Detention Center, and completed a report of the incident. 

Aug. 18

At 10:59 a.m., officers responded to a report of a traffic offense.

At 7:31 p.m., officers responded to a report of stalking.

At 8:34 p.m., officers, while on another call for service, came in contact with an individual with an active warrant. Officers placed Thomas Greenland under arrest per the active warrant, transported him to the Sweetwater County Detention Center, and completed a report of the incident.

Aug. 19

At 11:17 a.m., officers responded to a report of vandalism.

At 1:32 p.m., officers responded to a report of a hit and run.

At 2:20 p.m., officers responded to a report of threats/harassment.
