Green River Police Department reports for July 22

At 10:19 a.m., officers conducted a traffic stop and issued a warning for alleged speeding.

At 4:09 p.m., officers responded to a report of larceny.

At 8:05 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle and issued the driver, Stephanie Mills, a citation for alleged speed.

At 8:30 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop and issued warnings for alleged speeding and a turn signals required violation.

July 23

At 2:50 a.m., officers responded to a report of an alcohol offense.

From 9:33 to 11:13 a.m., officers responded to seven reports of abandoned vehicles. 

At 9:59 a.m., officers responded to a report of property damage. 

At 12:58 p.m., officers responded to Probation and Parole for a report of an individual with an arrest and hold order. Officers placed Justin Smith under arrest per the arrest and hold order, transported him to the Sweetwater County Detention Center and completed a report of the incident.

At 7:13 p.m., officers responded to a report of domestic violence. 

At 7:24 p.m., officers responded to a report of larceny. 

At 7:41 p.m., officers responded to a report of a two-vehicle collision in the parking lot of 410 Uinta Drive. Officers met with the drivers of both vehicles and determined that the first vehicle was parked and attempting to exit the parking area. The second vehicle was entering the parking area when the first vehicle struck the second vehicle, causing damage to both vehicles.Officers issued the driver of the first vehicle, Nicholas Morrow, a citation for alleged inattentive driving with crash and completed a report of the incident. 

July 24

At 12:43 a.m., officers responded to a report of assault. 

At 4:34 p.m., officers responded to a report of an accident. 

At 7:33 p.m., officers responded to a report of a runaway. 

July 25 

At 11:23 a.m., officers responded to a report of an accident. 

At 12:41 p.m., officers responded to an animal call and issued a citation to Bianca Alderson for alleged animal at large. 

At 12:46 p.m., officers responded to a report of fraud. 

At 2:05 p.m., officers responded to a report of larceny. 

At 8:59 p.m., officers responded to a report of domestic violence. 

July 26

At 9:08 a.m., officers responded to a report of larceny. 

At 3:26 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle and issued the driver, a juvenile, a citation for alleged speeding. 

At 8:44 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop and issued a warning for alleged speed. 

July 27

At 1:21 a.m., officers responded to a report of a physical fight between two adult males. Officers gathered statements from both involved parties and witnesses. Officers placed James Walker under arrest for alleged simple battery, transported him to the Sweetwater County Detention Center, and completed a report of the incident.

At 5:18 a.m., officers made contact with an individual with an active warrant while on another call for service. Officers placed Mikkel Walker under arrest per the active warrant. Officers transported Walker to the Sweetwater County Detention Center and completed a report of the incident.

At 11:12 a.m., officers responded to a report of a barking dog.Officers issued the owner, Richard Chase, a citation for alleged nuisance animal - second offense and completed a report of the incident.

At 4:58 p.m., officers responded to a report of domestic violence. 

At 5:27 p.m., officers responded to a report of an individual with an active warrant. Officers located the individual and placed Justin Jones under arrest per the active warrant. Officers transported Jones to the Sweetwater County Detention Center and completed a report of the incident.

At 6:03 p.m., officers responded to a report of an assault. Officers met with the reporting parties who advised they had been attacked by an individual with a large machete. Officers located the suspect and placed Jacob Rial under arrest for alleged aggravated assault and battery - causes bodily injury with a deadly weapon. Officers transported Rial to the Sweetwater County Detention Center and completed a report of the incident. 

At 8:31 p.m., officers responded to a report of an individual pointing a gun at juveniles. Officers met with the juveniles who stated that they had been walking their dirt bikes in front of a residence when an adult male came out and pointed a firearm at them after speaking to them. Officers located the suspect, gathered a statement, and placed Boyd Kettle under arrest for alleged aggravated assault and battery - threatens to use a drawn deadly weapon. Officers transported Kettle to the Sweetwater County Detention Center and completed a report of the incident.

July 28

At 1:13 p.m., officers responded to a report of assault. 

At 6:34 p.m., officers responded to a report of a subject removal. 

At 9:29 p.m., officers responded to a report of domestic violence. 

July 29 

At 12:02 a.m., officers responded to a report of larceny. 

At 1:43 a.m., officers responded to a report of domestic violence. 

At 10:09 a.m., officers responded to a report of a subject removal. Officers met with the individual who was determined to have an active warrant. Officers placed Alex Holcomb under arrest per the active warrant. Officers transported Holcomb to the Sweetwater County Detention Center and completed a report of the incident.

At 10:30 a.m., officers responded to a report of a scam. 

At 12:29 p.m., officers responded to a report of a two-vehicle crash. Officers met with both drivers and determined that the first vehicle struck the second vehicle, causing damage. Officers issued the driver of the first vehicle, Jacki Allison,  a citation for alleged inattentive driving with crash and completed a report of the incident. 

At 1:35 p.m., officers responded to a report of a scam. 

At 5:08 p.m., officers responded to a report of domestic violence. Officers met with both parties and gathered their statements. Officers placed Lakaya Hamblin under arrest for alleged domestic battery - first offense, transported her to the Sweetwater County Detention Center and completed a report of the incident. 

At 5:58 p.m., officers responded to a report of property damage. 

At 7:57 p.m., officers responded to a report of an individual lighting fireworks. Officers located the individual, a juvenile, and issued them a citation for alleged fireworks use. Officers completed a report of the incident. 

At 8:44 p.m., officers responded to a report of a traffic offense. 

July 30

At 12:16 a.m., officers responded to a report of a runaway.
