From the RSPD:

This week Rock Springs Police Department responded to multiple stolen vehicle calls in the Presidential Streets area where ultimately the stolen vehicles were found abandoned at Arthur Park. A citizen posted a video of two juveniles attempting to gain access to the vehicles on Facebook which provided detectives valuable information about the identity of the juvenile suspects. Once officers identified a pattern to the thefts, they set up night time surveillance at Arthur Park which resulted in the successful identification of the juveniles.

Rock Springs Police Department officers would like to remind citizens to lock their vehicles, do not leave the keys in the vehicle and do not leave valuables in the vehicle.

While the juveniles identified have admitted to their involvement in this case, detectives are still working on this case and possibly related cases. If you have any information you feel may be helpful to the investigation please call 307-352-1588.
