Green River Police Department reports for June 23

At 8:50 p.m., officers responded to a report of a hit and run.

At 8:54 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop and issued a warning for alleged failure to display license plate on rear of vehicle.

At 9:36 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop and issued a warning for alleged speeding.

At 11:28 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop and issued a warning for an alleged tail lights violation.

At 11:36 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle and issued the juvenile driver a citation for alleged speeding.

June 24

At 4:48 a.m., officers conducted a traffic stop and issued a warning for an alleged valid certificate of title, certificate of registration, and license plates required violation.

At 5:04 a.m., officers conducted a traffic stop and issued warnings for an alleged tail lights violation and headlights violation.

At 12:53 p.m., officers responded to a report of a subject removal.

At 9:40 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop and issued a warning for an alleged stop sign violation.

At 10:16 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop and issued a warning for an alleged taillights required violation.

At 10:28 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop and issued a warning for an alleged taillights required violation.

At 11:21 p.m., officers responded to a report of a suspicious person near the railroad tracks. Officers located the individual who had been previously advised about trespassing on railroad property. Officers placed Aleyna Dantonio under arrest for alleged trespass (refuse to leave when asked), issued a citation, and transported her to the Sweetwater County Detention Center. Officers completed a report of the incident.

At 4:27 a.m., officers responded to a report of larceny.

At 10:57 a.m., officers responded to a report of trespassing.

At 3:06 p.m., officers responded to a report of larceny.

At 9:15 p.m., officers responded to a report of a runaway.

June 26

At 3:44 p.m., officers responded to a report of a traffic hazard.

At 5:35 p.m., officers responded to a report of trespassing.

At 6:34 p.m., officers responded to a report of domestic violence.

At 7:16 p.m., officers responded to a report of domestic violence.

June 27

At 3 a.m., officers responded to a report of assault.

At 9:20 a.m., officers responded to a report of a traffic hazard.

At 12:30 p.m., officers responded to a report of a two-vehicle crash in the area of Mississippi Street and W Teton Boulevard. Officers met with both parties who stated that the driver of the first vehicle had pulled into the intersection and collided with the second vehicle. Officers issued the driver of the first vehicle, a juvenile, a citation for an alleged stop sign violation and completed a report of the incident.

At 1:09 p.m., officers responded to a report of an accident.

At 4:56 p.m., officers responded to a report of an accident.

At 8:01 p.m., officers responded to a report of a traffic hazard.

At 9:37 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop and issued a warning for alleged driving on sidewalks.

June 28

At 9:54 a.m., officers conducted a traffic stop and issued a warning for an alleged valid certificate of title, certificate of registration, and license plates required violation.

At 12:18 p.m., officers responded to a report of larceny.

At 1:02 p.m., officers responded to reports of traffic hazards.

At 2:57 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop and issued warnings for an alleged vehicle turning left at intersection yield to approaching traffic violation and valid driver's license violation.

At 4:15 p.m., officers responded to a report of a hit and run.

At 4:36 p.m., officers responded to a report of a traffic hazard.

At 4:32 p.m., officers responded to a report of larceny.

At 6:36 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for an alleged stop sign violation. Officers made contact with the occupants of the vehicle and determined them to be in possession of narcotics. Officers placed Larry Dean Paxton Sr. and Larry Dean Paxton Jr. under arrest for alleged unlawful possession - schedule I or II > 3 ounces, 3/10 gram, 3 grams or 5/10 gram respective. Officers transported both to the Sweetwater County Detention Center and completed a report of the incident.

At 8:09 p.m., officers responded to a report of domestic violence.

June 29

At 7:44 a.m., officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle and issued the driver, Margaret Flores, citations for alleged speeding and a driver to yield to pedestrians on sidewalks violation.

At 10:52 a.m., officers responded to a report of a two-vehicle crash near Uinta Drive and E 2nd S Street. Officers spoke with all involved parties and determined the second vehicle had rear-ended the first vehicle at the stoplight. Officers issued the driver of the second vehicle, Adam Haberman, citations for alleged use of cellular telephone while driving and improper use of child restraint system - first offense. Officers completed a report of the incident.

At 2 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle and issued the driver, Marc Mondragon, citations for alleged improper use of child restraint system - first offense and a valid certificate of title, certificate of registration and license plates required violation.

At 3:21 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle and issued the driver, Maria Estrada Leon, a citation for an alleged valid driver's license violation. Officers also issued a warning for an alleged windshield and wipers required violation.

At 3:29 p.m., officers responded to a report of assault.

At 4:02 p.m., officers responded to a report of larceny.

At 5:41 p.m., officers responded to a report of a runaway.

At 9:41 p.m., officers responded to a report of domestic violence.

June 30

At 12:07 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for speed and determined the driver to have a suspended driver's license. Officers placed the driver, Samuel Brown, under arrest for alleged driving while license suspended - second offense. Officers transported Brown to the Sweetwater County Detention Center, issued citations as well as a warning for alleged speeding - superintendent's speed zone 6+ mph over, and completed a report of the incident.

Note: From June 28 - 30, the GRPD conducted a number of traffic stops and issued multiple warnings and citations. Individuals receiving citations for alleged speeding were Jordan Moeller, Karson Kinnear, John Pennigton, Jason Stoner, Trevor Duvall, and Gloria Puentes Dominguez. There were 46 traffic stops resulting in warnings for alleged speeding, as well as a number of traffic stops with warnings for alleged violations including stop sign violations, windshield and wipers required violations, tail lights required violations, and valid certificate of title/registration/license plates required violations.
