Coach Seiloff plans for retirement, reflects on career

Colleen Seiloff, a respected mathematics teacher and the mastermind behind the women's and men's swimming teams at Green River High School, is preparing to retire from teaching while continuing her coaching career.

He even suggested naming an aquatic center in her honor, saying, "What would be wrong with the Colleen Seiloff Aquatic Center? That's how good she is."

"Securing my first teaching position was a pivotal moment for me," she said. "Green River was the place to be, and I felt fortunate to join the esteemed faculty here."

From commuting to Western for her degree to student teaching in Rock Springs, Coach Seiloff's academic endeavors laid the foundation for her future success in education.

Looking ahead to her retirement from teaching, Coach Seiloff eagerly anticipated the opportunity to spend quality time with her family and embark on new adventures.
