Head Coach Rick Carroll feels the team played great defensive games but says they are still struggling to score and make their free throw shots. He explained that making free throw shots can help put your team ahead during the game and for whatever reason the girls weren't making the shots. They will continue to work on offensive execution, focusing on shooting free throws and staying more relaxed. When it came to the Jackson game, Carroll thinks the girls played better with every quarter, but he has been emphasizing that they need to start the games with more intensity because Jackson made some points that they could have shut down.
The Lady Wolves will travel to Afton to play a conference game against the Star Valley Braves on Saturday and next Thursday they will play the Rock Springs Tigers in Rock Springs at 5:30 p.m. They will also announce the winner of the annual Blood Drive between Green River and Rock Springs during the basketball games.
