The Green River High School Girls Wrestling program kicked off the 2023/24 wrestling season this past Thursday in Afton. The Star Valley High School Girls Wrestling program hosted the Star Valley Lady Braves Brawl with Star Valley, Evanston, Green River, Jackson, Kemmerer, Lyman and Rock Springs invited.
"The girls competed well in Star Valley this past Thursday," Head Coach Josh Wisniewski said of the meet.
Last year was the first year for girls wrestling in the state of Wyoming. This year many of the teams are building on last year's success and eager to get the new season underway.
The Lady Wolves will return to the mats this Saturday as they will participate in the Kemmerer Invite.
