The Andrews family was one of the many families that got to experience the Pony Express up close and personal Saturday morning. Mike, Karen, Henry, and Harper Andrews got to chat with Gary Gwin and his horse before the annual Pony Express Christmas Card Ride. The public was invited to meet the local riders and their horses, and children were given free horse rides before the riders set out. This year the Pony Express carried over 100 pounds of mail from the Green River Post Office to the Rock Springs Post Office. With 6,092 cards, it was one of the biggest Christmas deliveries the group has made.
