At 8:37 a.m., officers responded to Hitching Post at 580 E Flaming Gorge Way for a report of a collision. A vehicle was traveling through the parking lot and struck the storage Conex box. EMS transported the driver. Officers gathered information and completed a report of the incident.

At 2:11 p.m., officers responded to Smiths at 905 Bridger Drive for a parking complaint. Officers met with the store manager who pointed out two vehicles that they wanted tagged. Officers attempted to contact the owners, posted notices on the vehicle, and completed a report of the incident.

At 2:01 a.m., officers responded to Monroe Avenue for a noise disturbance. Officers contacted the resident, advised of the complaint, and completed a report of the incident.
At 12:44 p.m., officers responded to Andrews Street concerning a suspicious vehicle that was left parked and unoccupied. Officers learned the vehicle had been stolen from Rock Springs. Officers gathered information and later located two suspects who attempted to flee the area. One of the suspects was located inside another vehicle, which was found to be an additional stolen vehicle. Both subjects were taken into custody. The suspects were arrested and transported to the Sweetwater County Juvenile Detention Center. Officers completed an incident report.

At 3:46 p.m., officers responded to a report of vandalism. Officers observed a power box near the green belt on E Teton Boulevard to have black graffiti written on it. Officers gathered information and completed an incident report.

At 9:23 p.m., officers responded to Upland Way for a report of a disturbance. Officers met with the property manager and attempted to make contact with the tenant. Officers gathered information and completed a report of the incident.

At 3:35 a.m., officers attempted a traffic stop on Aspen Street but the vehicle was not stopping. The vehicle then struck a second vehicle, which was parked on Ironwood Street. The first vehicle came to rest about 150 yards from the second vehicle. Officers made contact with the driver and issued the driver citations for alleged speed too fast for conditions, eluding a police officer, DWUI - incapable of safely driving, no valid driver’s license, work permit, and compulsory auto insurance. Officers discovered the vehicle to be a stolen vehicle. Officers gathered information and placed the driver, London Posselt, of Green River, under arrest and transported him to the Sweetwater County Detention Center.
At 9:30 a.m., officers responded to W Railroad Avenue for a report of a parking problem. Officers met with an individual who reported the abandoned vehicle on their private property. Officers advised of the process of having the vehicle towed. The vehicle was towed and officers completed a report of the incident.
At 11:27 a.m., officers responded to Elk Valley Drive for a report of a disturbance. Officers met with the individuals involved in a dispute. Officers gathered information and completed a report of the incident.

During the canine search of the parking lot, the deputy’s K9 gave a positive alert on a vehicle. Officers contacted staff and the owner of the vehicle. Officers located paraphernalia inside the vehicle and issued a citation, to a juvenile, of Green River, for alleged unlawful possession - plant form < 3 ounces - first offense. Officers gathered information, collected the items, and completed an incident report.
At 9:50 a.m., officers responded to E 2 S Street for a report of trespassing. Officers met with an employee at UPRR who stated the individual was walking on the tracks. It was also reported the individual was seen walking on the interstate on-ramp. Officers located the subject on Jensen Drive walking in the southbound lane. Officers gathered information and the subject was subsequently transported by EMS. Officers completed an incident report.

Officers subsequently placed Betty Jane Morrison, of Green River, under arrest for alleged person using or under the influence of a controlled substance and unlawful possession - plant form < 3 ounces - third offense.

The vehicles entered the intersection, with the second vehicle initiating a left hand turn and then colliding with the first vehicle.
