GHSC will be celebrating Thanksgiving with a special lunch on Thursday, November 16 at both 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. The menu will include turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes and gravy, corn, rolls, cranberry sauce and pumpkin pie. There will be limited seating. Call the center at (307) 872-3223 to RSVP.
GHSC will also be hosting a field trip to Pinedale on Friday, November 17. The day trip will leave from GHSC at 8 a.m. and arrive back at about 4 p.m. Participants will go to the Museum of the Mountain Man for a tour, eat lunch with the local seniors at the Rendezvous Pointe Senior Center, and then shop downtown Pinedale. Those who go are encouraged to bring $6 for lunch and any spending money wanted for shopping, as well as to dress appropriately for the weather and wear comfortable shoes.
Seniors who are in need for the holidays can participate in the GHSC Giving Tree program. Wish lists should be returned by November 15.
GHSC will be closed November 23 and 24 for Thanksgiving. There will be no regular activities November 30 and December 1 in preparation for the Holiday Craft Fair.

Lunch:
Lunch is served Monday through Friday from 11:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. with a salad bar served daily. For those who are 60 and over, a $4 contribution is suggested for meals. For those under 60, a $7 contribution is suggested, which includes tax. For curbside meals, a $5 contribution is suggested for those 60 and over, and a $8 contribution for those under 60.
GHSC would like to remind everyone that curbside orders are due by 10:30 a.m. each day. To-go meals cannot be packed during the dine-in time. All home delivered meals and cancellations are due by 8:30 a.m.
Golden Hour Senior Center is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
