After the Prelims on Friday, there were several swimmers that didn't make the top 12. The following swimmers deserve recognition for all of their hard work and making great contributions to the team: Bella Anderson, Lauren Clark, Baylee Cochrun, Dalynn Graves, Mallery Lyon, Ellie Mandros and Alyson Robidoux. These young ladies kept cheering on their teammates during all of the events.
"I just thought that they did really well," Head Coach Colleen Seiloff said of the team. "The girls really enjoyed celebrating in front of their family and friends."
She said she was very impressed with how well the girls swam, especially when they are swimming tired during this time of the season. She is very proud of them for learning how to compete, even when they are exhausted. She is also proud of their teamwork and she talks to the girls a lot about how "you're only as strong as your weakest link."
The Lady Wolves will host their Last Chance meet today at 4 p.m. This will be the last chance the ladies have to qualify for the 3A State Championships that take place in Gillette on November 3 and 4.
