Charlene K. Hindman, 78, passed away peacefully surrounded by her son Brandon on Friday, October 20, 2023 at her home. She was a resident of Rock Springs, Wyoming and former resident of Big Piney and Basin, Wyoming.
She was born October 28, 1944 in Choteau, Montana; the daughter of Charles Morgan Sanders and May Alvina Pinney.
Mrs. Hindman attended schools in Montana and Wyoming. She was a 1963 graduate of Big Piney High School.
She was married to Harold Eugene Hindman and he preceded her in death on November 20, 2007.
Mrs. Hindman worked for Jim Bridger Power plant for 18 years and retired as a Plant Material Person on October 31, 2002.
She loved spending time with her family; traveling with her son to the Farson General Store for ice cream: traveling around the state together; watching wrestling WWE the Food Channel.
Survivors include one son, Brandon Hindmon of Rock Springs, Wyoming; three sisters, Nina Carroll of Thermopolis, Wyoming; Patsy Sanders Reynolds from Nampa, Idaho; Marilynn Dickinson, River, Wyoming; three grandchildren, Bradley Rose; Cody Rose; Elyssa Crow; two great grandchildren, Riley Rose; Abby Crow several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Harold Eugene Hindman; one daughter, Rondine Knezovich; two sons, Lonnie Lynn Sanders; Harold Eugene Hindman; one brother, David Morgan Sanders; two sisters, Carolynn Schultz; Sandra Comer.
Cremation will take place; a Celebration of Life will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, November 4, 2023 at American Legion Archie Hay Post #24, Gunyan Hall, 543 Broadway Street, Rock Springs, Wyoming.
