Women's Club gives donations, plans upcoming events

The GFWC Women's Club of Sweetwater County met on September 19. The meeting was held at White Mountain Library. The board members provided a taco/nacho bar for lunch. There wasn't a speaker as there was a lot of catching up to do after three months off from general meetings.

We awarded grants to four Western Wyoming Community College students prior to the meeting. The winners are Dahlia Jordon working on Nursing, Emma Curtis working on Business Management, Delaney Gardea also working on Nursing, and Evin Hansen going into Mechanical Engineering. Congratulations and best of luck to all.

The members voted to donate $500 to Nutritional services with Sweetwater School District #1 to help pay for meals of children who are unable to pay for their lunches. This check was delivered directly following the meeting to Angela Erramouspe, head of Nutritional Services.
