Putting Patches at the Park

The new Green River Dog Park sculpture, named "Patches," was placed at the dog park last Saturday morning. A ribbon cutting was hosted by the Green River Chamber and the Green River High School National Honor Society. The sculpture, made possible by the City of Green River and Green River Arts Council, was first revealed during the Art on the Green event a few weeks ago. After the event, the Arts Council took suggestions from patrons on what to call the sculpture, and the majority picked the name "Patches." The artist is Jacob Novinger.
