Mike Bond was sworn in as a new Green River Police Department officer at City Hall on Monday morning. Bond is from Rock Springs and is currently a Staff Sergeant for the Wyoming National Guard. Green River City Administrator Reed Clevenger did the oath of office, while GRPD Captain Janet Kauchich presented Mike with his badge, #117. Bond has ties to Sweetwater County and to the GRPD as he is the son-in-law of former Green River Police Chief Tom Jarvie.
