Green River Police Department reports for Nov. 18
At 11:08 a.m., officers responded to a report of trespassing on Buckboard Lane. Officers met with an individual who requested to have two individuals issued trespass orders for their property. Officer made contact with each individual, issued a trespass warning, and completed a report of the incident.
At 1:58 p.m., officers responded to a phone detail for a report of animal cruelty. Officers spoke to an individual who reported they had done bestiality on a cat and then abused it. Officers attempted to gain information from the individual and make contact. Officers were later advised by the individual that they were lying and it was a prank call. Officers were unable to gather any evidence of animal cruelty and completed a report of the incident.
At 3:01 p.m., officers responded to a report of a citizen assist on Kansas Street. Officers met with an individual who reported they thought their neighbor has their cat. Officers made contact and attempted to locate the missing cat. Officers gathered information and completed a report of the incident.
At 7:32 p.m., officers responded to a report of domestic violence. Officers met with the individuals involved in a verbal confrontation. The parties agreed to stay separated and officers completed a report of the incident. The GRPD did not release the address officers responded to.

At 9:45 a.m., officers responded to a report of a two-vehicle collision on Fir Street. It was reported one vehicle was traveling east on Fir when the passenger side of the vehicle collided with the driver’s side of a second vehicle, which was parked and unoccupied on the south side of the roadway. Officers gathered information and completed a report of the incident.
Nov. 20
At 11:27 a.m., officers responded to a report of a hit and run collision on Logan Street. Officers met with an individual who reported finding damage to the driver’s side mirror of their vehicle, which had been parked and unoccupied. Officers gathered information and completed a report of the incident.
At 12:26 p.m., officers responded to a report of a disturbance on S Wagonwheel Drive. Officers made contact with the individuals involved in a verbal dispute. Officers gathered information and completed a report of the incident.
Nov. 21
At 9:25 a.m., officers responded to a report of a positive alert from the vaping detection system at Green River High School. Officers met with admin and an individual, who was found to be in possession of a tobacco vaping device. Officers gathered information and subsequently issued Tanner Lockman, 18, of Green River, a citation for alleged use or possession of a tobacco product by a person under age of 21.
At 11:02 a.m., officers responded to a report of an individual with an active Arrest and Hold Order at the Probation and Parole office. Officers met with the individual, confirmed the order, and placed Clay Cudney, of Green River, under arrest for a probation violation. Officers transported Cudney to the Sweetwater County Detention Center and completed a report of the incident.
Nov. 22
At 4:32 a.m., officers conducted field contact with an individual known to officers to have an active warrant at McDonald’s. Officers gathered information, confirmed the warrant, and placed Matthew Yoak, of Green River, under arrest per the warrant. Officers transported Yoak to the Sweetwater County Detention Center and completed a report of the incident.
At 11:13 a.m., officers responded to a report of a larceny at Maverick. Officers met with the store manager who reported an individual stole two bottles of alcohol. Officers gathered information and completed a report of the incident.
At 3:14 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop at Shoshone Avenue and Mountain View Street and issued the driver Laura Lucero, of Green River, a citation for alleged speeding - school zone.
Nov. 23
At 12:53 p.m., officers responded to a report of a two-vehicle collision at Smith’s. It was reported one vehicle was traveling northbound through the parking lane as a second vehicle was traveling southbound in the same lane of travel. The first vehicle collided head on with the second vehicle. Officers gathered information, issued the driver of the first vehicle, Todd Matthews, of Green River, a citation for alleged inattentive driving with a crash, and issued a citation to the driver of the second vehicle, Jacki Allison, of Green River, for alleged failure to provide proof of liability insurance. Officers completed a report of the incident.
At 1:19 p.m., officers responded to a report of a citizen assist on Mansface Street. Officers met with individuals over a civil matter, gathered information and completed a report of the incident.
At 5:31 p.m., officers responded to a report of a two-vehicle collision at Uinta Drive and Riverview Drive. It was reported both vehicles were traveling northbound on Uinta and were stopped in the left-hand turning lane. The first vehicle stopped partially in the intersection to turn left but could not complete the turn, so the driver reversed the vehicle and the rear of the vehicle struck the front bumper of the second vehicle. Officers gathered information and completed a report of the incident.

At 10 a.m., officers responded to a report of domestic violence. Officers met with the individuals involved in a verbal dispute, gathered information and completed a report of the incident. The GRPD did not release the address officers responded to.
At 7:28 p.m., officers responded to a report of a larceny on Fir Street. Officers met with an individual who reported items taken by a known individual. The items were located and returned to the owner. Officers gathered information and completed a report of the incident.
At 10:57 p.m., officers responded to a report of a larceny on Wilderness Trail. Officers met with an individual who reported a missing firearm that was later located and returned to the owner. Officers gathered information and completed a report of the incident.
Nov. 25
At 10:44 a.m., officers responded to a report of a verbal dispute at the Western Inn. Officers met with a staff member who reported a verbal dispute between two individuals that had already left the area in separate vehicles. Officers made contact with one of the individuals who advised the dispute was not physical, gathered information, and completed a report of the incident.
At 8:26 p.m., officers responded to a report of a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Uinta Drive and East Flaming Gorge Way. It was reported one vehicle was waiting to turn left at the intersection and a second vehicle was traveling west bound on E Flaming Gorge Way. The first vehicle pulled out to complete the left-hand turn and the front of the vehicle struck the front of the second vehicle. Officers gathered information and issued the driver of the first vehicle, a juvenile, age 17, of Green River, a citation for alleged failure to grant right-of-way at intersection, and completed a report of the incident.
At 8:54 p.m., officers responded to a report of a suspicious circumstance. Officers met with an individual who reported they found an object in their yard they believed could be a threat. Officers gathered information and completed a report of the incident. The GRPD did not release the address officers responded to.
