Staff at Trona Valley Federal Credit Union's Green River Branch recently gathered to celebrate being named the 2022 "Paint the Town Pink" winners.
Trona Valley Federal Credit Union's Green River Branch was voted the Green River winner of the annual "Paint the Town Pink" competition hosted by Sweetwater Regional Cancer Center.
The credit union supported Breast Cancer Awareness Month by decorating all of their doors for their "Trona Valley A-DOORS supporting our community" campaign.
"The community agreed and voted them as the Paint the Town Pink 2022 Green River winner for the second year in a row," a Sweetwater Regional Cancer Center press release said.
This year there were 22 entries in the competition between businesses in both Green River and Rock Springs.
"Each year this fun event grows and we just want to say thank you," the press release said. "Paint the Town Pink supports the fighters, survivors and helps us remember the taken from breast cancer but is a reminder for people affected by cancer. Get screened! Early detection saves lives and treatment is available right here."
