Anna Mildred Maser

Anna Mildred Maser, 92, went to see Jesus face to face on Thursday, September 15, 2022. She passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family. She was a resident of Rock Springs for 14 years and a former resident of Green River, Wyoming.

Anna was born on December 8, 1929 in Elsie, Nebraska; the daughter of Peter J. Meister and Mary Agnes Nealon. She attended school in Nebraska and relocated to Wyoming.

She married Alex Junior Maser on August 6, 1949 in Laramie, Wyoming. He preceded her in death on August 12, 2011.

Anna was a member of the Holy Spirit Catholic Community.

Anna was a woman of devout faith and loved praying the rosary. She also enjoyed playing cards, doing crossword puzzles, listening to music and gardening. But mostly, she enjoyed spending time with her family.

She is survived by James Maser, Robert Maser (JoAnn), Karen Simpson (Mike), Sandra Hickerson (Steve), and Lesly Shuttlesworth (Troy) all of Rock Springs, Wyoming; Michael Maser (Debi), Susan Kendall (Dean), Doyle Maser (Emily), all of Green River, Wyoming. Cheryl Kershisnik (Fred) of Killdeer, North Dakota; Michelle Kopish of Menominee, Michigan; Kelly Maser (Tami) of Pinedale, Wyoming; and Joy Smith (Jay) of Kemmerer, Wyoming; 74 grandchildren, 81 great-grandchildren, several cousins, nieces, nephews, and in-laws.

She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; twin sister Emma Krafczik; eight other siblings; one daughter Kayleen Maser, who died in infancy; grandson Spencer Kendall, who died in infancy and one granddaughter Courtney Fortenberry.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 2:30 P.M. Wednesday September 28, 2022 at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 116 Broadway Street, Rock Springs, Wyoming. A Vigil Service with Rosary will be conducted at 5:00 P.M. Tuesday, September 27, 2022 at the Church. Cremation will take place following Funeral Services. A Private Graveside Service will be conducted.
