Benjamin Jorgensen

Benjamin Jorgensen, 18, passed away Monday July 4th, 2022 in Gustavus, Alaska. He was born August 6, 2003 in Rock Springs, WY; son of Bianca Alderson and Richard Jorgensen.

Benjamin attended schools in Green River, WY and recently graduated from Expedition Academy. Although my boy struggled with making it to class 1st hour he was acknowledged as Student of the Month and he thought highly of both his fellow students and faculty.

He enjoyed Star Wars, Norse Mythology, ancestry, music, the outdoors, the water, animals, and time with family and friends. He had a passion for his personal fitness and enjoyed helping others reach their fitness goals.

He is survived by his mother Bianca Alderson and husband Gus Alderson; sister Bethany Haworth and brother Braiden Haworth; grandfather (Papa) Gary Mace; father Richard Jorgensen; aunt Tanya Morff; uncle Lance Mace; uncle Josh Mace and wife Tasha; uncle, Kevin Grant; cousins Danasia Vermillion, Gabe Morones, Lexus Sweets, Tyree Sweets, Willow Kay Mace, and Oliver Mace, Kenedie Grant, Michael Grant, Kacei Grant, Kaitlyn Grant; also many wonderful friends, family friends, and trusted teachers.

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandmother (Gaga) Judy Mace and aunt Novalee Grant.

Cremation has already taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held at the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Green River, WY on Sunday July 31, 2022 at 2:00 p.m.
