Kenneth Richard Price

Kenneth Richard Price, 74, passed away Saturday, June 4, in Jamestown.

He was born Dec. 24, 1947 in Rock Springs; son of John Wesley Price and Ruby Lee. Price attended schools in Green River and was a 1967 graduate of Green River High School.

He married Jean Behunin in August of 1973 and they later divorced. He married Doris L. Bufford June 1, 2000 in Green River.

Price served in the United States Navy.

Price worked at Stauffer Chemical/OCI for 38 years until his retirement April 1, 2010 as a maintenance man.

He enjoyed spending time with family, camping, hunting, fishing, rock hunting, classic cars and trucks, leather work and making knives.

Survivors include his wife, Doris Price of Green River; one son, Donovan Price of Green River; four step-sons, Shawn Hummel of Green River; Mike Torimino of Green River; Kerry Torimino of Edwardsville, Illinois; Dominic Torimino of Granite City, Illinois; one daughter, Joey Price of Green River; two step- daughters, Robin Rushing of Green River; Elizabeth Paparigopoulos of Collinsville, Illinois; three brothers, John Price and wife Virginia, of Green River; Jim Price and wife Ranae of Green River; Ed Price of Green River; two sisters, Ruby Jean Hayes of Salt Lake City; Betty Rose and husband Guy of Thayne; 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; lifelong best friend, Allen Forslin; as well as several cousins, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Evelyn King and Ruth Riddle; sister-in-law, Carol Price; three brothers-in-law, Don Hayes, Jack Riddle and Bruce King; as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Cremation has taken place, a celebration of life will be conducted at 11 a.m., Saturday, July 16 at Pioneer Trails Picnic Grounds, Main Pavilion (old OCI Picnic Grounds), 334 County Road 4-68, Green River. Please dress casually and feel free to drive your classic car, truck, hot rod or motorcycle in honor of Ken.
