The Green River High School boys swim team headed to Gillette for the state competition last weekend and came home with a fourth-place finish and a strong showing from the diving team.
Wolves' divers topped the leaderboard in diving. Braxton Cordova was the diving state champion for the second year in a row, taking first with a score of 447.40. Fellow Wolves Kyle Kight and River Kirts took second and third place respectively.
"Those guys have just been battling out and pushing each other all year and so it was great to watch them finish that way," head coach Colleen Seiloff said.
