Patricia "Patsy" Butcher

Patricia "Patsy" Butcher, 84, passed away Wednesday February 2, 2022 at Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County in Rock Springs, Wyoming. She was a long-time resident of Green River, Wyoming and former resident of Rock Springs, Wyoming. Mrs. Butcher died following a lengthy illness.

She was born October 9, 1937 in Rock Springs, Wyoming; the daughter of Edgar Orme and Beatrice Arnold.

Mrs. Butcher attended schools in Rock Springs, Wyoming and was a 1955 graduate of Rock Springs High School.

She married Jerald Butcher March 18, 1956 in Rock Springs, Wyoming. He preceded her in death March 4, 2019.

Mrs. Butcher was a member of St. John's Episcopal Church in Green River, Wyoming.

She enjoyed crocheting; jigsaw puzzles; reading and crafting. Mrs. Butcher was an avid Denver Broncos Fan.

Survivors include her son-in-law, Ron Macioszek of Green River, Wyoming; two grandsons, Jerred Macioszek of Green River, Wyoming; Trent Gregory of Green River, Wyoming; several cousins, two nieces and three nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Jerald Butcher; two daughters, Laurie Macioszek; Leisa Butcher; one brother, Geoff Orme; two sisters, Peggy Bonney; Betty Warne.

The family Respectfully requests donations in Patricia's memory be made to Cowboys Against Cancer, 1893 Dewar Drive, Rock Springs, Wyoming 82901.

Following Cremation, a Celebration of life will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at St. John's Episcopal Church, 350 Mansface Street, Green River, Wyoming. Inurnment will be in Riverview Cemetery.
