Donald Kenneth Foucault "Don", was born December19, 1939. One January 26, 2022 this ugly thing they call Dementia took my best friend and love of my life. I was lucky to have him 42 years.
Don was a Vietnam War Veteran with the 101st Airborne. He was proud to be a veteran.
He was a member of the American Legion Post #112 for 52 years & recently the VFW Post #7061. He was Post Commander for two years until we moved to Flaming Gorge. He became a general contractor until his disease made him slow down.
Don loved the outdoors. He boated, camped, hunted and fished. Don bought a side by side and we became snowbirds in 2013.
We wintered in Parker, Arizona until January 2021 where the disease made it impossible to continue.
He is survived by his wife Jane Foucault; one brother, Jack and wife June Foucault; three stepchildren, Angela Thompson and husband Brad; Sean Hession and wife Patti; Stephanie Jacobson and companion Jeff Lyons along with 12 beautiful grandchildren! Thank you, family, for all your support.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Adrian Edward Foucault and Madge Melissa Johnson Foucault; one sister, Sally Foucault
Cremation will take place; Military Honors Graveside Services and Inurnment will take place in the Daggett County Cemetery, Manilla, Utah at a later date.
And yes, he did smile!
