Green River Police Department reports for Jan. 25
At 10:06 a.m., officers responded to a report of an ongoing nuisance barking problem on Monroe Avenue. Officers met with an individual who reported the nuisance barking and filed a complaint. Officers attempted to make contact with the dog owner, left a message, and completed a report of the incident.
At 5:31 p.m., officers responded to a report of domestic violence. Officers met with the individuals involved in an altercation. The parties were separated and officers completed a report of the incident. The GRPD did not release the address officers responded to.

At 3:24 p.m., officers responded to a report of an agency assist on Logan Street, which led to the arrest of Danielle Gonzales, 33, of Green River, for an arrest and hold order arrest for an alleged probation and parole violation. Officers transported Gonzales to the Sweetwater County Detention Center and completed a report of the incident.
Jan. 27
At 7:57 a.m., officers responded to a report of vandalism on Uinta Drive. Officers met with individuals who reported their tire on their vehicle had been slashed. Officers completed a report of the incident, which is still under investigation.
At 12:35 p.m., the school resource officer responded to a report of an accident in the school parking lot at Green River High School. It was reported one vehicle was traveling on the south side of the parking lot navigating a left-hand curve as they were leaving the parking area to the exit driveway, when the vehicle lost control and spun out striking a light pole on the south side of the driveway. Emergency medical services responded, but no transports were made and officers completed a report of the incident.
At 3:14 p.m., officers responded to a report of fraud on West Railroad Avenue. Officers met with an individual who reported a fraudulent company that claimed to assist with the IRS and tax relief contacted them requesting a wire transfer. Monetary losses were reported and officers completed a report of the incident, which is still under investigation.
At 4:47 p.m., officers responded to a report of a larceny on Cumorah Way. Officers met with an individual who reported items that were taken from their residence by a known individual. Officers attempted to make contact with the individual and completed a report of the incident, which is still under investigation.
At 7:27 p.m., officers responded to a report of a disturbance. Officers met with the individual causing the disturbance who reported a verbal domestic argument. Officers made contact with the other involved party and completed a report of the incident. The GRPD did not release the address officers responded to.

At 8:27 a.m., officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle that was speeding on Roosevelt Drive and Uinta Drive and issued the driver, Barbara Bercot, of Beaverton, Oregon, a citation for alleged speed.
At 9:37 a.m., officers responded to a report of a single vehicle collision at Expedition Island. It was reported a vehicle was traveling north exiting the parking lot onto the bridge when the passenger side of the vehicle struck the guardrail. Officers met with the sole occupant of the vehicle and completed a report of the incident.
At 10:27 a.m., officers responded to a report of vandalism on Wilkes Drive. Officers met with an individual who reported the tires on their vehicle had been slashed. Officers contacted the suspected individual and completed a report of the incident.
At 3:21 p.m., officers responded to a report of a burglary on East Flaming Gorge Way. Officers met with an individual who reported someone had entered their residence and moved some of their belongings around. Nothing was reported missing and officers completed a report of the incident.

At 3:23 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle at the intersection of Roosevelt Drive and Uinta Drive for an expired temp tag and issued the driver, Kaitlynn Powers, of Rock Springs, a citation for an alleged license plates required violation.
At 5:05 p.m., officers responded to a report of vandalism on East 4th South Street. Officers met with an individual who reported the tires on their vehicle had been slashed. Officers contacted the suspected individual and completed a report of the incident.
At 11:45 p.m., officers responded to a report of property damage. Upon further investigation it was found that the property damage was the result of a domestic disturbance that took place. Officers met with the individuals involved in a dispute that consequently resulted in damage to a window and door of the property. The parties had separated and officers completed a report of the incident. The GRPD did not release the address officers responded to.

At 6:28 p.m., officers met with an individual who reported a missing vaping device on Crossbow Drive. Officers assisted in attempting to locate the missing item and completed a report of the incident.
Jan. 30
At 1:28 a.m., officers attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a vehicle that was speeding at Iowa Avenue and West Virginia Place. The vehicle fled at a high rate of speed, parked, and the driver fled on foot. Officers made contact with the passenger and took statements. Officers completed a report of the incident. At the time the report was completed officers had not yet located the suspected driver.
At 3:10 a.m., officers responded to a report of domestic violence. Officers met with the individuals involved in the verbal altercation and took statements. The parties separated and officers completed a report of the incident. The GRPD did not release the address officers responded to.
At 9:36 a.m., officers responded to a report of harassment. Officers met with an individual who reported another individual that was stalking and harassing them. At 6:19 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle at East Teton Boulevard and Monroe Avenue for speeding and issued the driver Michelle Luokka, of Green River, a citation for alleged speed.

At 12:48 p.m., officers responded to a report of larceny on Hillcrest Way. Officers met with an individual who reported cash being taken from their vehicle. Officers contacted the suspected individual, took statements, and completed a report of the incident.
At 5:24 p.m., Animal control officers responded to a report of a barking dog complaint on Monroe Avenue. Officers met with an individual who reported the barking as a nuisance.
Officers made contact with the dog owner who also reported a nuisance animal. Officers completed a report of the incident, which was forwarded to the city attorney for review.
At 9:44 p.m., officers responded to a report of a disturbance. Officers met with the individuals involved in a verbal argument. The parties separated for the night and officers completed a report of the incident.
