Kristina Lynn Martinez, 35, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family and friends by her side Monday January 10, 2022 She was a resident of Rock Springs, Wyoming for the past six years and former resident of Bridger Valley, Wyoming and Kingman, Arizona.
She was born March 25, 1986 in Rock Springs, Wyoming; the daughter of Robert P. Martinez and Karen L. Mitchell.
Kristina attended schools in Mountain View High School in Mountain View, Wyoming
She found the love of her life fiancé Charlie Eaton.
In her life, Kristina enjoyed spending time and creating memories with her fiancé Charlie, their daughters, friends as well as family members. Kristina loved pictures; she would keep every picture in a suitcase because she cherished all the people in her life. Kristina had the biggest heart you would ever meet. She considered everyone a friend that walked into her life. Her laugh was contagious and would light up a room. Kristina's biggest passion was music. She lived for the music that would always be playing whenever she was around. The music that plays long after she is gone will be the reminder all her friends and family will hang on too. Kristina was very loved and will be missed by all who knew her.
Survivors include her fiancé, Charlie Eaton; two daughters, Nova Eaton; Kloee Eaton all of Rock Springs, Wyoming; her mother, Karen Schear and husband Randy Eaton of Kingman, Arizona; four brothers, Joe Sallee and wife Tera of Arkansas; Stephen Schear and wife Kayla of Texas; Wade Schear of Gillette, Wyoming; Tim Nielsen of Cheyenne, Wyoming; five sisters, Karen Nielsen and companion Adam Barelle of Casper, Wyoming; Mindi Schear and companion Russell Stevens of Bridger Valley, Wyoming; Mandi Speakman and husband Chad of Cheyenne, Wyoming; Lana Otero of Colorado; Tycee Nielsen of Green River, Wyoming; maternal grandparents, Vanita Schear and husband Rick of Bridger Valley, Wyoming; Stanley Mitchell of Manilla, Utah; Step-father, Wade Schear and his wife Liz of Saint Gorge, Utah. Kristina was blessed with many aunts; uncles; nieces; nephews and many four-legged family members.
She was preceded in death by her father Robert Martinez, one aunt, Sally Seelen, a step-father Gary Florence, paternal grandparents, Thomas Martinez and wife Claudina; grandmother Shirley Slagowski.
A Celebration of Life will be conducted 1:00 P.M. Saturday January 22, 2022 at American Legion Fort Bridger Post #36, 100 County Road 224, Fort Bridger, Wyoming. We ask that you wear your favorite band t-shirt and bring a dish as we celebrate Kristina.
