Our loving mother, daughter, sister, niece, cousin and friend Charla Gene Fryburger Gutierrez, passed away in the early morning hours on October 27th, 2021, at the age of 57. She was taken from us way too soon after an extremely short, aggressive battle with cancer. She was surrounded with the love of her family, children and close friends.
Charla was born on Sept. 4, 1964, the daughter of Charles and Vella Mae Fryburger in Rock Springs, Wyoming. She is survived by her adoring children, Ryker, Joshua and Kati Gutierrez, her mother Vella Mae Fryburger, sister Deanna (Randy) Perry, and brother Kent (Pat) Pulley, and many other cherished family members and friends.
Charla was a free spirit, especially in her early years, and traveled to many parts of our country to experience life to the fullest. She wore many hats during her lifetime, including real estate management and sales, banking and the title industry for over nineteen years.
Recently, Charla took a courageous step to be self-employed, enabling her to share more time with her children. Sadly, she was taken before that dream could be fully realized. She was the most giving and selfless person; always putting others before herself. She knew how to brighten everyone's day with her smile and humor. She will be sorely missed, but never forgotten by all who crossed paths with her.
Charla was preceded in death by her father Charles Fryburger, brother Robert Pulley, grandparents Frank and Ida May Hysell, and Virgil Fryburger, Lila Fryburger Leak and Peggy Fryburger Rice.
The family has decided to hold a private celebration of her life in Las Vegas at a later date.
Memorial donations may be made to her "gofundme" page: "Charla Gutierrez Cancer Fight" which will now go into a trust for her children and final expenses.
