Green River Police Department reports for Nov. 10
At 9:35 a.m., officers responded to a report of a welfare check and ascertained one of the individuals had an active warrant. Officers placed Gary Brewer, 52, of Green River, under arrest per the active warrant and transported Brewer to the Sweetwater County Detention Center. Officers completed a report of the incident. The GRPD did not release the address officers responded to.
At 11:41 a.m., officers responded to a report of a subject removal at the Super 8. Officers met with an individual who requested to have an individual causing a disturbance removed from the property. Officers met with the individual, and advised of the request for the subject to leave the property. Due to the individual not cooperating, and detecting a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from the individual, officers subsequently placed Candon Jones, 33, of Green River, under arrest for alleged public intoxication and criminal trespassing. Officers transported Jones to the Sweetwater County Detention Center and completed a report of the incident.
At 1:15 p.m., officers responded to a report of an individual with an active warrant. Officers met with Probation and Parole agents and the individual. Officers confirmed the warrant and placed Kylee Kreuger, 21, of Rock Springs, under arrest per the active warrant. Officers transported Kreuger to the Sweetwater County Detention Center and completed a report of the incident.
At 8:06 p.m., officers responded to a report of trespassing on Idaho Street. Officers met with an individual who requested an individual be issued a trespass warning for the property. Officers attempted to make contact with the individual and completed a report of the incident.
Nov. 11
At 7:57 a.m., officers responded to a report of threatening messages over social media. Officers met with the reporting party as well as the suspects and completed a report of the incident. The GRPD did not release the address officers responded to.
At 3:02 p.m., officers responded to a report of two intoxicated individuals walking near Monroe Elementary School. Officers met with the individuals and discovered one had an active warrant. Officers confirmed the warrant and placed Christopher Larson, 30, of Green River, under arrest per the active warrant. Officers transported Larson to the Sweetwater County Detention Center and completed a report of the incident.
At 5:04 p.m., officers responded to a report of trespassing at Family Dollar. Officers met with the reporting party who advised the suspect had come into the store several times and was causing a disturbance. The reporting party advised they would like the suspect to be issued a trespass warning. Officers met with the suspect, issued the trespass warning, and completed a report of the incident.
Nov. 12
At 4:31 a.m., officers while on patrol observed a suspected juvenile walking along the street at West Teton Boulevard and Kansas Street. Officers made contact with the individual and determined they were in fact a juvenile and violating curfew ordinance. Officers contacted the juvenile’s parents and issued the juvenile, 14, of Green River, a citation for alleged curfew violation. Officers completed a report of the incident.
At 8:18 a.m., officers responded to a report of a subject yelling and causing a disturbance on Schultz Street. Officers met with an individual who reported the individual left prior to officer arrival and requested to have the individual trespassed from the property. Officers attempted to locate the individual and completed a report of the incident.
At 2:03 p.m., Animal control officers issued Jared Kropt, 46, of Green River, a citation for alleged animal at large.
At 4:46 p.m., officers responded to a report of found drugs at the Horse Palace. Officers met with an employee who turned over a small bag of suspected marijuana. Officers collected the suspected marijuana and completed a report of the incident.
At 5:47 p.m., officers responded to a report of disturbance on East Teton Boulevard. Officers met with the individuals involved in a verbal dispute, and at the request of the property owner a trespassing warning was issued to the other individual. Officers completed a report of the incident.
At 10:16 p.m., officers responded to a report of domestic violence. Officers met with individuals involved in a domestic altercation. The parties were separated and officers completed a report of the incident. The GRPD did not release the address officers responded to.
At 11:26 p.m., officers responded to a report of shots fired at Uinta Drive and Evans Street. Officers met with individuals who reported damage to their vehicle caused by suspected gunshots. No injuries were reported. Officers attempted to locate the suspected individual and completed a report of the incident, which is still under investigation.
Nov. 13
At 11:11 a.m., officers responded to a report of a subject spray painting a building at the American Legion. Officers observed the door of the building that had been recently painted, attempted to located the known subject, and completed a report of the incident.
At 4:55 p.m., officers responded to a report of a juvenile in possession of tobacco products. Officers met with the juvenile and a parent or guardian. Officers collected tobacco products and suspected marijuana paraphernalia and issued the juvenile, 14, of Green River, citations for alleged possession of tobacco by minor and paraphernalia (possession with intent to use). Officers completed a report of the incident. The GRPD did not release the address officers responded to.
Nov. 14
At 11:58 a.m., officers conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of Bridger Drive and West Teton Boulevard and issued the driver, Patricia Hall, 32, of Green River, a citation for alleged stop sign violation.
At 12:35 p.m., officers responded to a report of an assault. Officers met with an individual who reported a physical altercation with another individual. Officers made contact with the individual and completed a report of the incident. The GRPD did not release the address officers responded to.
At 2:54 p.m., officers responded to a report of a two-vehicle collision. It was reported one vehicle was traveling westbound on Barnhart Street and another vehicle was traveling northbound on Bramwell Street, both vehicles approaching the intersection. As the vehicles entered the intersection the front end of the first vehicle struck the passenger side of the second vehicle. Officers issued the driver of the first vehicle, Deborah Grace, 52, of Green River, a citation for alleged inattentive driving with a crash and issued the driver of the second vehicle, Tyson Leckie, 18, of Green River, a citation for alleged compulsory auto insurance violation - first offense. Officers completed a report of the incident.
At 3:33 p.m., officers responded to a report of a two-vehicle collision on East Flaming Gorge Way. It was reported the first vehicle was parked, and unoccupied, along the northwest side of the roadway of North 3rd East Street when the vehicle’s brakes failed, causing the vehicle to roll southbound across the roadway striking the east curb. The vehicle then traveled over the curb and eventually struck a second vehicle, which was parked and unoccupied on the property of a residence. Officers completed a report of the incident.
Nov. 15
At 9:59 a.m., School resource officers responded to a report of a juvenile in possession of a tobacco product at Green River High School. Officers met with the juvenile and a parent or guardian and issued the juvenile, 14, of Green River, a citation for alleged minor in possession of a tobacco product. Officers completed a report of the incident.
At 6:11 p.m., officers responded to a report of found property at Maverick. Officers collected a found bank card, attempted to locate the owner, booked the item in for safekeeping, and completed a report of the incident.
Nov. 16
At 12:56 a.m., officers responded to a report of domestic violence. Officers met with an individual who reported an altercation with another individual, who had left prior to officer arrival. Officers attempted to locate the other individual and completed a report of the incident. The GRPD did not release the address officers responded to.
