Maria Elena Sisneros, 41, passed away Wednesday October 27, 2021 at the University of Utah Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah. She died following a lengthy battle with COVID-19. She was a long-time resident of Rock Springs, Wyoming.
She was born September 4, 1980 in Riverton, Wyoming; the daughter of Candido Sisneros and Patricia Garcia.
Ms. Sisneros attended schools in Rock Springs, Wyoming and obtained her GED.
She worked for Sweetwater County School District #1 as a Bus Driver for the past four years.
Ms. Sisneros enjoyed spending time with her family.
Survivors include her fiancé, Jim Cunningham of Rock Springs, Wyoming; mother, Patricia Sisneros and fiancé Larry Connell; one son, Phurst Wilson; two daughters, Alize Rodriguez; Izahbella Wilson all of Rock Springs, Wyoming; two brothers, Brandon Garcia and wife Misty of Gillette, Wyoming; Rumaldo Sisneros of Rock Springs, Wyoming; half-sister, Candida Sisneros-Contreres and husband Ismael of Casper, Wyoming; two nieces, Alexandra Garcia; Aspen Garcia; two nephews, Cortez Sisneros; Sergio Sisneros; as well as several aunts; uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her father, paternal grandparents, and maternal grandparents.
The family respectfully requests donations in Maria's memory be made to Maria Elena Sisneros Memorial Fund at Rock Springs National Bank, 200 2nd Street, Rock Springs, Wyoming 82901.
Cremation will take place; a Celebration of Life will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Friday, November 5, 2021 at Santa Fe Southwest Grill, 1635 Elk Street, Rock Springs, Wyoming.
