Bonnie J. Patten

Bonnie J. Patten, 63, passed away October 24, 2021 after a brave fight with lung cancer. She was a resident of Green River, Wyoming for the past 21 years, and was a former resident of Gillette, Wyoming.

Bonnie was a loving stay-at-home grandmother, mother, and wife of Steven "Steve" Patten. She had two children, Monica "Jo" Patten and Jonathan Patten. She had two grandchildren, Natalie Rose Patten and Alexander "Alex" Patten. She had a special bond with Alex, and helped care for him since birth. Bonnie was a genius and an avid reader. She was very gifted in gardening, home improvement projects, woodworking, and crafts.

Bonnie enjoyed sharing interests with her grandchildren and children, including reading, giggling, karate, and traveling across country. She was a brown black belt and taught in the Shimokawara system. She was previously a registered nurse, and left her career to be a stay-at-home mom.

Survivors include, her husband, Steve Patten; one daughter, Monica "Jo" Patten; one son, Jonathan Patten; two grandchildren, Natalie Rose Patten, Alex Patten; three brothers, Donnie, Dwight, Doug Jensen; and her best friend, Debbie Eickhoff.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Betty and Donald Jensen.

Cremation will take place; there will be no services at her request.
