Dean Martin Dawes

Dean Martin Dawes, 69, passed away on Wednesday, October 13, 2021 in Green River, Wyoming. He was a long-time resident of Green River, Wyoming and former resident of Butte, Montana and Seattle, Washington.

He was born on April 12, 1952 in Pryor, Montana; the son of Jason Dawes and Caroline Kipp.

Dean attended schools in Butte Montana and was a 1971 graduate of Butte Central High School.

Dean was married to Beckilyn Munro who preceded him in death in June 2015.

He worked for OCI for several years. More recently he worked as a contractor for AAA Pumping.

Survivors include his son, Dean C. Dawes and family of Sierra Vista, Arizona; daughter, Madeleine "Lindy" Deckard of Green River, Wyoming and her step-daughter Jasmin Deckard of Springfield, Missouri; step-son Ben Garen and family of Clarksville, Tennessee; step-daughters, Tonill Herbin and family of Lyman, Wyoming; Melissa Neher and family of Green River, Wyoming; Angie Brice and family of Green River, Wyoming; sixteen grandchildren; and several great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father; Jason Dawes; mother, Caroline Kipp; his wife Beckilyn Dawes; and son-in-law Phillip Deckard.

Funeral Services will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at the Vase Funeral Chapel, 154 Elk Street, Rock Springs, Wyoming. Interment will be in the Riverview Cemetery.
