Dale Brenden

Dale Brenden, 65, passed away on Saturday, October 9, 2021 at his home in Rock Springs, Wyoming. He was a long-time resident of Rock Springs, Wyoming and a life-long resident of Wyoming.

He was born on May 17, 1956 in Basin, Wyoming; the son of Harland Brenden and Leona Grandbois.

Dale attended schools in Wyoming and was a 1974 graduate of Rock Springs, Wyoming.

He married the love of his life, Shelly Scott September 30, 1978 in Rock Springs, Wyoming.

Dale worked at FMC for forty-two years and retired on April 16, 2016 as a Maintenance Mechanic.

He was a member of Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #151.

Dale was happiest spending time in the mountains and being around his family. He also enjoyed bowling leagues. He loved celebrating his birthdays at Camp Creek on Little Mountain.

Survivors include his wife, Shelly Brenden of Rock Springs, Wyoming; two sons, Skylar Brenden of Rock Springs, Wyoming; Cody Brenden of Rock Springs, Wyoming; one daughter, Misty Brenden and companion Carlos (daughter Katelin) Valdez of Rock Springs, Wyoming; two sisters, Debbie Schlichenmayer and husband Stan, Wheatland, Wyoming; Carrie Gifford of Oakridge, Tennessee; one step-sister, Kelly Harkins of Rock Springs, Wyoming; one step brother, Raymond Luck of Newport News, Virginia; three brothers-in-law, Dean Scott and wife Gail of Rock Springs, Wyoming; Darell Scott and wife Debbie of Rock Springs, Wyoming; Ken Scott and wife Kathy of Lander, Wyoming; as well as several cousins; nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his father, Harland Brenden; mother Leona Brenden; father and mother-in-law, Ken Scott and wife Arlene; one aunt, Anne Grenier; one nephew, Brian Gifford; one niece, Amy Scott; paternal grandparents; maternal grandparents.

Funeral Services will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Tuesday October 19, 2020 at the Vase Funeral Chapels, 154 Elk Street, Rock Springs, Wyoming. Interment will be in the Rock Springs Municipal Cemetery.
