Karen S. Yenne, 64, passed away Friday, July 23, 2021 at Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County in Rock Springs, Wyoming. She was a lifelong resident of Rock Springs, Wyoming. Mrs. Yenne died following a lengthy illness.
She was born on March 13, 1957 in Rock Springs, Wyoming; the daughter of Hamilton Smith and Mollie Burnett Smith.
Mrs. Yenne attended schools in Rock Springs and was a 1975 graduate of Rock Springs High School.
She married Edward "Ed" Yenne on September 26, 1981 in Rock Springs, Wyoming.
Mrs. Yenne worked at the Sweetwater County School District #1 for many years. She was the print shop manager and printer at the time of her retirement in 2016.
She was a member of the daughters of the Nile.
Karen loved spending time with her family, being active in daughters of the Nile, camping, working on her computer and working in Yellowstone National Park in the summers.
Survivors include her husband, Edward "Ed" Yenne of Rock Springs, Wyoming; one sister, Diana Rauzi and husband David of Rock Springs, Wyoming; one sister-in-law, Thelma Seibel and husband Al of Rock Springs, Wyoming; one brother -in-law, Harold Yenne and wife Teresa of Dubois, Wyoming; one uncle, Bernard Burnette and wife Pam; two nephews, Paul Rauzi and wife Brianne; Sean McCurdy and wife Aimee; two nieces, Kayla Rauzi Hawley and husband Garett; Tiffany Wester; four great nephews, Aiden Rauzi; Conlin Rauzi; David Hawley; Jaymz Ackerman; one great niece, Rilynn Wester.
She was preceded in death by her parents.

Cremation will take place; services are pending.
