Food drive set for Saturday

The Boy Scouts will be conducting their annual food drive this week.

Bags in Green River have already been distributed through local churches, though residents who did not receive a bag can participate as well. Residents can take their bag food donations to Boy Scouts and Green River Police Department officers at Smith’s Food and Drug and at the Green River Food Bank, located behind Golden Hour Senior Center between 8:30 a.m., and noon Saturday. For residents of Rock Springs, residents who received a bag at their door can leave bagged donations near the front door of a residence, which will be picked up between 9 a.m., and noon Saturday. For those who didn’t receive a bag, donations can be dropped off at the Rock Springs Food Bank or any Sweetwater County Library System location during their operating hours.
