Clean up day set

The annual Green River City-Wide Clean Up day has been announced by the Green River Chamber of Commerce.

This year, cleaning is set to take place May 16. During that day, residents are encouraged to help beautify the city by pickup up trash around the city before the tourist season begins.

Volunteers will receive a breakfast and supplies before selecting an area to clean. Prior to the event, a shredding box will be available to residents May 12-15. Residents can bring anything they need to be shredded, though a limit of one banker box per person will be enacted.
