Steven Leslie Taylor, age 52, passed away Oct. 29, 2019 in Scottsdale, AZ. Steve was born January 1, 1967 in Caldwell, ID to Roseann Blake and Leslie Taylor. In his youth, Steve excelled in sports and math, loved outdoor adventures, and had a fun-loving, happy-go-lucky personality.
Following his graduation from Green River High School, Steve served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Argentina. For over twenty years, Steve lived in Vidor, TX and worked in the construction industry building a granite countertop business. Steve was also gifted in mechanics and technology. Outside of work, Steve enjoyed four-wheeling, computers, singing, laughing at jokes, visiting with his kids, and sharing his faith. Steve had a big heart and served many.
Steve is the father of three beautiful children, Millie, Samuel, and Austin, of whom he was immensely proud. His love for each of them is deep and personal.
Steve is preceded in death by his mother, Rosann Blake Sakamoto, and his father, Leslie Melvin Taylor. He is survived by his children, Millie, Samuel, and Austin Taylor as well as his two brothers, Terry Taylor of Green River, WY and Todd Taylor of Sun City, AZ.
Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 24, 2019 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Vidor, TX.
