Swimmers take 1st

The Lady Wolves swim team came out on top in two competitions this past week.

Last Thursday, the Green River High School Lady Wolves came in first at the Rock Springs High School swim meet.

On Saturday, the Lady Wolves had the home-pool advantage and took first in their own pool.

At the Rock Springs' meet, the Lady Wolves competed against four other teams, while at Green River, they swam against seven other teams.

In a previous interview, head coach Colleen Seiloff said the Lady Wolves always seem to do better when they swim at home.

She was right.

Lauren Jensen set a new school and GRHS pool record Saturday in the 100-meter backstroke with a time of 1.00.47.

The Lady Wolves will continue working hard in and out of the pool to prepare for this week's meets.

Today, the Lady Wolves will travel to Big Piney, while on Saturday, they will travel to Evanston.
