Head coach Craig Leavitt said he’s happy with how well the runners performed. He said Allison, Winn and Carson dropped time at the meet, while the freshmen boys continued to improve. Leavitt said the team’s freshman members are a strong group of runners, saying Iwen and other freshmen will develop into great runners.
The cross country team will travel to Star Valley for a pre-state invitational Saturday.
Leavitt said the meet allows the team a first chance to see the State cross country course. He said it will also give his runners a chance to see who they will compete against at State.
