Drinking water not impacted by notice
The Joint Powers Water Board received a Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality notice last week, regarding findings during an onsite inspection that occurred in April. However, the notice does not involve the quality of drinking water from the water treatment facility.
At the time of the JPWB’s meeting, staff at the facility hadn’t had a chance to review the findings, though JPWB Chairman John Eddins said the findings were items the board was aware of and working to correct.
“We got hit with this yesterday,” he said during their Thursday meeting.
