7th Ave, a group of vocalists brought together in 2016 by Chris Rupp, the founder of Home Free and the “Chris Rupp Project,” will perform March 26 at the Broadway Theater. 7th Ave presents a new sound that combines elements of pop, swing, rockabilly, country and much more. The band uses a blend of a cappella, live piano or guitar and tracked accompaniment and is aiming to reinvent and uproot the standard definitions of all of those genres and forge a new identity in the music world. The concert’s program may include “Can’t Stop the Feeling,” “Route 66,” “Uptown Funk,” “Can’t Help Falling in Love,” “At Last” and “Hallelujah.”
The concert is open to members of the Sweetwater County Concert Association and tickets are available to the public at $20 for adults, $15 for senior citizens and $10 for students through high school. Tickets can be purchased at the Rock Springs and Green River chambers of commerce and will be available at the door as well as online at http://www.squareup.com/store/sweetwatercca.
