Meet the presidential finalists in person next week

The Western Wyoming Community College board of trustees are pleased to announce that they have selected three finalists for the presidency of WWCC.

Western first created a presidential search advisory committee in December, which was comprised of members of the college community and the community we serve. Western also hired ACCT Search Services, a standard higher education search company, to promote the position. ACCT Search Service’s hard work has elevated Western’s reputation and their collective talents helped yield a strong and deep candidate pool.

“I would personally like to thank the entire college community for your continued interest and support in the process to identify Western’s next president,” board president George Eckman said. “I would also like to take this opportunity to thank each and every member of the Presidential Search Advisory Committee for their hard work, long hours and assistance in this process.”

The finalists are: Denise Crews, Ed.D., who is the vice president of academic services, Richland Community College in Decatur, Ill., Kimberly Kuster Dale, Ph.D., who is executive vice president of Western Nebraska Community College in Scottsbluff, Neb. and Timothy Taylor, Ph.D., who is the former associate vice chancellor of academic affairs, professional programs at Oakland Community College in Bloomfield Hills, Mo.

Receptions for each presidential finalist are being planned for March 26, 27 and 28. Community members are invited to attend these receptions, which are scheduled to take place at the Rock Springs Historical Museum from 5:30-7 p.m. each day. Those who have any questions or suggestions, can feel free to reach out to the ACCT Search Consultant: Julie Golder, J.D., vice president of search services, at jgolder@acct.org or 202-384-5816.
