Hampton Inn employees recognized

Three employees of the Green River Hampton Inn and Suites were recognized at the quarterly REACH (Rare and Exceptional Achievement for Customer service in Hospitability) awards last month, according to a press release issued by the Sweetwater County Travel and Tourism Board.

The employees are Quinn Phillips, Doris Rodriguez and Guadalupe Angelito.

According to the release, the three were honored at a ceremony Dec. 13. Phillips was nominated by Kim Strid, saying he “always arrives for work with a smile on his face and ready to tackle any task that needs to be completed for the day.”

“If something is broken Quinn will try to fix or repair the broken item himself before calling a repairman to come to fix it and when the repair arrives he will work along side him to learn how to fix the problem if it occurs again. Quinn will also teach other team members in his department on how to fix/repair any hard to do projects,” Strid said.

Rodriguez was nominated by Defne Nieto, saying she “was nominated because of her exceptional work ethic as well as her great attitude and willingness to go out of her way to help her fellow team members.”

“She is always ready to work with any task given, whether it is in or out of her normal job duties. She has excelled in Housekeeping, PA, as well as temporary supervisor,” Nieto said.

Finally, Angelito was nominated for the award by Phillips.

“From making sure breakfast is perfect and everyone is happy, to cleaning the public spaces of the entire building. She is never afraid to get dirty and always going the extra mile to make sure things are done correctly. Always with a smile,” he said.
