Carol Sandra "Sandy" Ball passed away unexpectedly in Salt Lake City Nov. 9, 2018. Sandy was born in Berkley, Calif., Dec. 26, 1952.
Sandy was blessed with her only son, Hito Lee in 1970. Sandy treasured the time they had together and after his death moved to Evanston, where she met the love of her life Kevin "Punky" Ball. They shared a special love for each other and Punky helped Sandy to find joy in her life once again. They married March 25, 1988, and eventually made their home in Winnemucca, Nev., where they lived until Punky's death in 2005.
Sandy returned to Evanston and made her home there until her passing. Sandy loved spending time with family, having coffee with friends at Jody's Diner. She loved her soaps, "Sponge Bob Square Pants" and most of all, her lounge wear. Sandy found joy in simple things, she loved chotskies and had many unique treasures in her home and yard.
She is survived by her brother Butch (Liz) Mora; sisters, Paula (Tom) Wall, Lillian Mora, JoAnn Ortiz, Theresa (John) Valdez, Tracey Mora and Sheri (Toby) Mora; sisters in law Kathy Ball, Chris (Larry) Lym and Jennifer Boggess; her special niece Debbie Gardea, along with many other nieces and nephews.
