David Gene Ryan

David Gene Ryan, of San Angelo, Texas, passed away peacefully at his residence, surrounded by family Oct. 14, 2018, following a lengthy illness. 

David was born in Bisbee, Ariz., April 30, 1937, to Jack and Mabel Ryan. The family moved to Texas when he was a young boy. On April 20, 1956, David married the love of his life, Mary Hasty, of San Angelo, Texas and together they had six children, Karen, Sharon, Ron, Randy, Laurie and Roy. 

In 1973, they moved to Green River where they lived until January of this year when David and Mary moved back to San Angelo.

David loved to fish and hunt, to ride horses and camping, but most of all to spend time with his family. He dearly loved spending time with his wife, his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. He was loved by all and will be dearly missed.

He is survived by his wife Mary, sons Ron (Kay) and Roy, daughters Sharon (Tom) Biamon and Laurie Ryan, 11 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. 

Funeral services took place Oct. 19 in San Angelo, Texas.
