Edith Louise Lawrence, "Nana," 54, passed away peacefully Aug. 23, 2018, in Green River.
She was born Sept. 20, 1964, in Lincoln, Neb., the daughter of Fred and Sharon Uhrich.
She attended school in Gordon, Neb., and pursued her GED.
Edie married Wendell Lawrence in July of 1983 in Bismark, N.D.
She was a member of Faith United Methodist Church in Cheyenne where she, two granddaughters and her father in-law were baptized.
Edie worked as a housekeeper at the Oak Tree Inn for 15 years. After retiring, she worked as a homemaker tending to the needs of not only her family, but for all those who were blessed to have made her acquaintance. She enjoyed camping, fishing, being outdoors, going on "the morning drive" and walking her dog Jim, but most of all spending time with her family and friends. Her caring manner and support was one of the most critical components to the families success.
Edie is survived by her two daughters, Desiree Lawrence and fiancé Dustin Cleary of Green River and Heather Irvin and husband Casey Irvin of Toledo, Ore .; father Fred Uhrich of Green River; brothers Fred Uhrich Jr. of Green River and William Uhrich of Portland, Ore .; four grandchildren and Wendell Lawrence.
She was preceded in death by her mother Sharon Uhrich and brother in-law Richard Lawrence. A private ceremony took place Aug. 30. A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date. Condolences for family can be left at http://www.foxfh.com.
